In a qualifying session disrupted by a red flag, Team TGM’s Hugh Plumb recorded the fourth fastest time for tomorrow’s FOX Factory 120 – the final round of the 2022 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.

After strategy played a key role in Team TGM’s last podium result, the knowledge and experience of the team’s engineering crew could again play a key role at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this week with heavy rain predicted.

The penultimate round of the 2022 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season came down to fuel strategy, with the No.64 Team TGM car driven by Ted Giovanis and Owen Trinkler taking third place in the Virginia is for Race Lovers Grand Prix.

Coming off of a strong double top ten finish at Road America a few weeks ago, Team TGM goes into the penultimate race in the 2022 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season with great momentum.

After a disappointing trip to Canada, everyone on Team TGM was excited to return to Lime Rock Park, a circuit they all enjoy and have much past success. However, the “bullring” circuit was not kind to the team.

The Plumb brothers have always considered Lime Rock Park as a home track and they showed their knowledge of the historic 50-year-old track when they scored a second row start for Team TGM at Lime Rock Park.

The “Bullring” of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge championship awaits Team TGM this week as the championship heads to the picturesque Lime Rock Park.
