Ted Giovanis

“This weekend will mark the half-way point in the season and it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the team. We’re all very familiar with the different circuits on the IMSA schedule but are learning the Porsche Cayman’s potential and performance at each. I’m very proud of the entire TGM team and their hard work.
“We’re going into the busiest portion of the season and we’re feeling very optimistic about the upcoming races starting at Watkins Glen this weekend. We’ve had past successes at Watkins and one of our best tracks is Lime Rock in mid-July, so we’re looking forward to getting it all started this weekend.
“It is hard to believe this will be my 100th start in this championship – I have truly enjoyed each and every race and I’m looking forward to many more.”

Owen Trinkler

“Starting the year with the new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsports we knew this would be a learning year for us. We don’t have the big notebook of information to draw from, so every track is new to us in respect to this race car.
“We’ve been very pleased with the performance of the Porsche Cayman and testing at Watkins Glen a few weeks ago will help us with set up and improving performance come the race weekend.”

Hugh Plumb

“Heading into the second half of the season, it feels like we have more of a handle on this Porsche. These next couple of races will be vital to a solid championship finish.
“I love going to Watkins Glen and know we should be strong here this weekend for TGM.
“I’m hoping we can come away with a good result to celebrate Ted’s 100th race in the series.”

Matt Plumb

“I don’t think there is a driver in the series that doesn’t count Watkins Glen as a favorite track, me included. It’s challenging and requires constant focus. I’m sure I speak for everyone on the team that we are very pleased with the testing we did here a few weeks ago.
“We ran some quick laps and think there is more we can do to improve set up. Now we are more familiar with how the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsports performs at Watkins Glen and we’re excited about the race this weekend.”
