Team TGM reveals Rolex 24 livery

Team TGM reveals Rolex 24 livery
BRASELTON, GA (TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2020) – Team TGM will return to a familiar livery, with a twist, for the 2021 Rolex 24. Engaging the talents of famed motorsports artist, Andy Blackmore, the team’s Porsche GT3 R has been wrapped in anticipation of the Roar Before the 24, January 22-24, 2021 at Daytona International Speedway.
When asked about the design, team owner and driver Ted Giovanis recounted, “a race car I purchased a few years back had a white, blue and orange paint scheme which I liked and we’ve improved and enhanced it to create what is a very recognizable and fan-favorite livery. My daughter, Kristina who is the Director of Operations for Team TGM liked the colors on the old car, but it was really her vision and direction that brought the livery alive. She has helped to fine-tune the colors and lines and has taken a special interest in the Porsche livery.”
“We were very excited when Andy (Blackmore) was available to help create the livery for the Porsche GT3 R for the team’s first run in the Rolex 24. I think Andy has created something stunning which is also easily seen by our team’s crew on pit lane, spotters, and fans.”
Team TGM continues in their preparations for the IMSA Rolex 24, January 30-31 at Daytona International Speedway, where Giovanis will make his 24H race debut along with co-drivers Hugh Plumb, Owen Trinkler, and Matt Plumb in the GTD class.

Team TGM’s drivers who have a combined 21 Rolex 24 starts will also be kicking off their Michelin Pilot Challenge championship assault aboard their Chevrolet Camaros, racking up an astonishing 48+ hours of track time between the Roar Before The 24 and Rolex 24 practice, qualifying, and race hours.
